Address Finder Web Service v2006.1

Address Finder Web Service offers geocoding and reverse geocoding for your Internet applications. You can use Address Finder Web Service to input a street address, phone number, or IP address and receive a candidate list and associated x,y coordinates. You can also use this Web service to input x,y coordinates and receive a street address.  

Address Finder Web Service allows you to perform the following functions:

• Locate street address, phone number, and IP address.
• Reverse geocode (get the address for an x,y coordinate).
• Choose an auto data source that automatically selects the appropriate data source for a request.
• Include multiple data sources in one request, essentially creating your own auto data source.

NOTE: HTTPS is available if you need added security to call ArcWeb services. Authentication Web Service and other ArcWeb services must be accessed with the same IP address for the authentication token to be valid.
