ArcWeb Explorer 4.0 beta 4 is now available. The ArcWeb Explorer 4.0 application offers powerful Web map rendering with desktop-like functionality, exposing ArcWeb Services through easy-to-use widgets. Quickly find locations, pan and zoom, and toggle between a variety of map types including aerial and street tile. The ArcWeb Explorer 4.0 application can be customized and embedded using either the ArcWeb Explorer 4.0 JavaScript or ArcWeb Explorer 4.0 Flex API.
These APIs are designed for developers who want to get a working Web-based mapping application up and running very quickly without spending a significant amount of time developing code. |
ArcWeb Explorer 4.0 JavaScript API
The ArcWeb Explorer JavaScript API
- Offers the use of a powerful subset of ArcWeb Services functionality
- Enables easy integration of mapping functionality and content into HTML Web applications
- Supports projected maps
- Provides access to street, street tile, aerial imagery, hybrid (integrated street and aerial), shaded relief, and topographic maps
- Provides access to Spatial Query point data sources
NOTE: Log in with your ArcWeb Services account user name and password. The first time you sign in to the ArcWeb Explorer Lab, you need to review and accept a Labs license agreement and fill out a short registration form; you will then be redirected to the Labs page. From then on, you can access Labs directly by logging in to the ArcWeb site (or by clicking the Log in button on the Labs page).
